The Fire Department has been called to Dunkin Donuts for a "Donut Overdose" (URL) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

(...) You mean the lady on top was not as challenging as the camel? She is just amazing all covered in tiny plates. (Having seen some of your other sculptures I recall you are pretty good at that.) The back of her head is incredible the way the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Jedi Luke Miniland Figure

Luke's got new clothes, the title of Jedi Master, and...lots of articulation! (If I threw a couple of wings and rockets onto him, I'd probably have to call him a mech.) (URL) Right Angle> (URL) Front> (URL) Left Angle> (URL) Left> (URL) Saber Pose (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: The U.S.S. Katheryn is ready for her first mission!

(...) Well you have certainly overcome the bulky but not a flying box problem. I was wondering if you solved the problem of having a detachable ship make the main ship look incomplete. I noticed there was no picture of the outside of the Katheryn (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

Judy, Just saw this on Brickshelf. Beautiful! I especially like the camel's head and the blanket. I think this is my favorite of your creations except maybe the phoenix. Bruce (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Danish miniland-scale double deck bus

"Esben Kolind" <esben_kolind@excite.com> wrote in message (...) :-) Looks good, the decals are a nice touch and the bus makes a great subject for modelling. My only negative comment would be that the wheel hubs seem to protrude too much, they should (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

Re: The U.S.S. Katheryn is ready for her first mission!

(...) Thanks! (...) Red, black, and gray being the most plentyful colors in my collection, they won by default! (...) I added the light gray trying to offset the EB color scheme of the shuttle. (...) Never! (...) Thanks! Those started out as solar (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Casper is at it again...

(...) Ho now Keith, don't be to happy about this folder. This is a humbling experience for me to be praised for some structures that are, as the folder is titled, just under construction :-) I'm not even sure if some of these structures ever will (...)   Re: The U.S.S. Katheryn is ready for her first mission!

(...) Nathan, This is way cool, I can see you put a lot of thought and time into it. The inside is as fleshed out as the outside is. I liked the matching uniforms, and the sleek way the shuttle docks. The bridge is a cool design, as is the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Danish miniland-scale double deck bus

Hi, My most recent creation: A double deck bus from the Copenhagen metropolitan area. This particular line takes passengers from the city center to the airport.   Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

(...) Wow, that's really beautiful. Your use of slopes to soften the edges and blockiness of the bricks is really well done. Adrian (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  large MOC: camel w/rider

I've been working on and off since last October on a camel with rider, dimensions 8"w x 22"l x 30" high. I thought a camel would be a challenge because the legs are so spindly; this is the first piece I've built with a Technic armature (mostly a (...)   Re: OBEY GRAVITY! (It's the law)

I tell ya, this has got to be *the part I have broke the most alongside the z24. Still, its a great part and does lots of different things. I occasionally break the teeth and stems once in while. But they're all on old designs where I was asking (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  BioniWars ProboToa

There are absolutely zero Bionicle pieces involved in this MOC...'s baseplate. If there's interest, I might post a pic showing the four seperate sections of the head. (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

Re: Casper is at it again...

(...) Oh boy.. making the brick do new tricks! Actually the fuzzy image makes it easier to enjoy the whole structure without wondering how many bricks the details are. (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
