  Re: Baseplate Integration Question

(...) Simple - set a layer of plates underneath the baseplates. This brings it up to the height of two plates. JohnG, GMLTC (21 years ago, 24-Jul-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Baseplate Integration Question

(...) I just tried this out: you take a standard plate/brick. Then you place the baseplate on top of this - making sure you leave 1 row of studs free from the bottom plate/brick. On this row, you place a standard 1xN plate. Now, when placing a 2xN (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jul-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Baseplate Integration Question

(2 URLs) Okay, you are hopefully seeing a picture of what I am building on above -- if not, use the link. I am using a 4x4 grid of these 16x16 stud baseplates to increase the modularity of my construct. The total building space is 64x64, of course. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jul-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Terran Advanced Scientific Satellite

(...) Nathan, This looks really good, and using the slotted plates for a solar cell works amazing well, the texture looks very realistic. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 24-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Very nice model, i love the claws as well as the whole color scheme. If you want to get the treads to work with an axle and motor just put one of the "medium" Gears inside the tread wheel, they fit pefectly, They arent the 24(i think) tooth gears (...)   Re: The U. S. S. Roderik has been launched!

(...) Aahhh! I see now. Locating the hatch further back on the ship makes much more sense. When I build the Roderik's sister ship I also want to include an airlock as well. (URL) (21 years ago, 22-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: The U. S. S. Roderik has been launched!

(...) I think you're missing my point. I think it's a bit odd to have the entry hatch in the middle of your cockpit/piloting area/whatever.
