Re: New Snow Leopard Clan Mech, Black Mamba

Wow! Hey, I like this. Those feet look like they can do some serious troop-stomping. I'm glad to see that you've stuck with your worm gear tech (I still haven't made my worm gear mecha yet). Good color scheme, and the whole thing looks pretty (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New mecha, and it's posable!

(URL) Click on Image This is really a first for me. For years now, I've always made my bipedal mecha either flimsy thus requiring numerous stoppers (which are eyesores design-wise) to hold up or so rigid that their one pose looked awkward. BUT no (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: New Snow Leopard Clan Mech, Black Mamba

(...) Wow! Nice! And big! Cool details abound... the feet, the cockpit, the, uh, "power source"(?!?)... Beautiful articulation, excellently thought-out colour scheme, the armament rocks! So very poseable... almost human, but nasty! Swingin', Snow (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: King Arthur Library Display

(...) Great work! I even read a line or two of your description :) Actually it was very well written. And also great to see the double wamming of exposing kids to castle and lego. All in all very impressive, especially the way the castle links the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

New Snow Leopard Clan Mech, Black Mamba

New home, new baby, new building space. Result? New mech. Now I can get back to the nitty gritty of building.   Re: King Arthur Library Display

That round table room is a nice and large chamber! It just radiates comfort, and, um, large scale compared to the minifigs. In lugnet.castle, Keith Goldman wrote: outside world of "normal people" (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: King Arthur Library Display

Hi, very cool display ! I like the legend of King Arthur a lot and planned to make something with bricks like you did, damned. :) It looks like a realy good medieval scene with lots of little details to find. uh..oh..wow... and "the round table" (...)   King Arthur Library Display

Submitted for your approval... the legend of King Arthur told lego-mural-style. It was constructed for my local library here in fresno, in conjunction with their "knights of the round table" summer reading program. This is my first public display (...)   Re: New MOC: Picard I

Nice work Nathan...although Kirk was the superior Captain, Picard is the superior probe. Nice angles here, and the main dish rocks. Most importantly, it looks believable. Also a good balance of greeblage, not too little, not too much. Your skills (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Just stumbled across this. Very cool. Neat idea with the little droid arms coming off that octagon piece. At a glance your other stuff looks pretty sweet also. -Stefan- (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Redesign of my microship...

(...) I don't think she's fat at all....she's curvey and that's a tough thing to do in brick. I agree that she would look marvy in minifig scale some day should the time and size of collection allow. Nice stuff. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: 'Kirk I'

(...) This is an interesting subtheme you have going here. The shapes are quite realistic and the structure rings true. The only thing I might suggestion is a little bit of inset greebling....not on the surface but perhaps peeking through some gaps (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) I, too, like the series of probes and satellites. very cool and very different. just a question: is there anything about these probes that connects them with their namesakes? -Jr.Marshal Hoffman (URL) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
