Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(...) Such an elegant yet powerfull tank mecha! I have checked out your site regularly and wondered if you were still active. I really like the way you work out every detail in your designs. Thanks for this new one! Love, Sylvi (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: 'Kirk I'

(...) Very nice, Nathan. The shape is very nice, and the booms are alot better. Although I would have to agree that it needs more stuff on it- it looks too bare with just that big radar dish. More antennas and dishes would be cool... but I still (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(...) Very sweet. I dig the colors and the overall bulkiness of this beast. Like the chin(?) mounted turrets and the toes. The little fan-like bits on the sides of the cockpit reminded me of the Junon cannon from FFVII, for some reason... Cool! (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(...) I dunno... All those MH and the Fuchikoma sort of burned me out, for the near future at least. I guess I'll have to start posting some old MOCs. Soren (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(URL) (...) No way, cool! Classic Crawl Tank. Gotta love it. Whoa guns pointing everywhere! Neat toes, drawing white into the model in different places. Dig the way the pilot is in there. Nice! e (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Announcing new Lego website: The Art of Brick

There is a certain art to certain things. There is an art to painting, an art to cooking, yes, even an art to driving. But, did you know that there just might be an art to brick? No, I’m not talking about those heavy blocks that spiders like to hide (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(...) Thanks Soren! And yeah, I've been wanting to use those axles since I got them in Jango Fett's Slave One. You can see a lot of pieces that I accumulated during March in this mecha also, especially from those mini-SW sets. (...) You know, I (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

I really like this. You absolutely nailed the air-defense-vehicle look. Nice to see someone else using those white axles for miniguns. I have only one real critique, and that's the hatch. It looks a little cramped, so close to the big white radome. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw File

(...) Welcome back! I was beginning to worry what happened to you. ;) Very sweet mecha, especially the white sensor gear. The smoke grenade launcher looks positively incredible, exactly like real ones. As always, the color scheme is perfect, with (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New Mecha and LDraw File

Hi all! I'm back to building with LEGO again. To all the MOC posters, sorry for the lack of replies, but please know that I do check out everything that you build and greatly admire your creations.   Re: Headlight Patterns

(...) Thanks, Cary. What other single LEGO elements have you thought of exploiting in this way? (...) Correct. (...) That's pretty neat-o. I hadn't realized there were other ways to assemble headlight mosaics. I played around with that 4x4 pattern a (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build)

Kalashnikov in progress (was Re: The Eastern Block's Newest Weapons)

  Re: Official Website Is Launched!

(...) Very nice. I had no problem on a 56K modem, calling from (cough) southern Africa. Now, if *that* doesn't show up problems, nothing will. It took a bit to load, so maybe an indicator of some kind on the screen (loading...please wait) might help (...)
