Hi all! after my first pair of oldtimer trucks got highlighted, here is the next MOC of that theme: this time I rebuilt the legendary set 383 from 1973. But I did some modest modification to the up-to-date piece assortment of course... Again I tried (...) I was just trying to satisfy Paul Kreig's desire to have a reversible engine, and it struck me that a differential was an easy mechanical way to do it. I love differentials. (...) (...) works, but now I get it. For anyone else who's lost, here's how I understand it: The casing of the differential is held still by the gear in the clear box. (...) Has anyone else tried building a LEGO launcher for this? I've tried using a 1:125 ganged gear train made with 3 40t gears and 3 8t gears (the final 8t gear being housed on the axle of the spinning toy), and just cranking at one end, but the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-03, to lugnet.build)

Director... In general, your vehicular designs are very cool. I liked the profile of the Flea, the gatling cannons & light array on the Scorp. I thought the Hyrdra's back half was outstanding, the tilting weapons system was spot-on, but the cab and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.military)
 
  New battlemech: Cougar
 
Me again! After being reinspired by Pawel charznecki's artwork, i decided to build a battletech mech that i have wanted to build for awhile.That mech is obviously the cougar :) The design is a refreshing change in pace from my recent humanoid-mecha (...)
