  Re: Moses is Dead

(...) By the way, I love your dewbacks in the Tatooine scene. Nice landscaping as well. It's only a mild and occasional frustration that all the LEGO building I do these days goes toward The Brick Testament. I haven't really tired of building in the (...)   Panther instructions on BI

I just re-posted the complete building instructions for my Panther kit to the BOTB Instructions Portal. These are the same as the printed instructions that come (came) with the kit. The actual kit had such a limited run that I felt it should be (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Female Mecha MOC: Raresa-Meitsu

(...) Haha! too true... (even if I like Sailor Moon...) (...) Suzumehara Satsuki sent me a nice email and pointed out that Kotaro Ono had also made a version of the BlazerMate: (URL) mostly due to their slender frames and sleek design. it (...) (...)   Re: Prototyping

(...) This is really fascinating stuff, Dave! Thanks for sharing. I thinkn I'll be spending as much time checking these out as I do Paul Hartzog's "ideas" BS folder. I especially liked this idea: (URL) I can't wait to see how they've worked out in (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Moses is Dead

(...) I agree that bias is inevitable. If I were to take on a similar project I'm sure others would say it was overly reverent, or Jewish readers might object to my Christological interpretation of certain texts in the Old Testament (of course, my (...)   Re: Another Homer Mosaic

(...) -SNIP- (...) Hey John... yeah sure has been awhile. Everyone's doing great thanks. I built this on baseplates... 16x16 baseplates (8x16 on the ends). Then I cheated and glued the baseplates onto plywood :-) Two 3'x6' pieces. I'm not much for (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Another Homer Mosaic

(...) Jeff that is great! I came across the picture on Brickself before I saw this post and got a good laugh out of it. What a great way to decorate the cube wall. At least you won't have trouble finding your office. Nice job, jt (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Another Homer Mosaic

(...) Jeff, long time no see, how the heck are you and the family? Dude, that looks just awesome! Let me be the first to entreat for more, and more detailed, pics. Did you build it against baseplates or by stacking bricks? How is it all connected? (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Moses is Dead

(...) In general, with The Brick Testament, I readily admit to a bias in choosing which stories to illustrate. I think any Bible illustrator is going to bring a bias to their story-selection. But I would say that for the section of the Bible I am (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Prototyping

(...) Thanks Paul, but I think you're missing my reason for posting these. I'll be posting finished MOCs using many of these ideas within a few days.   Re: New MOC: The Chrysler Building

(...) No, not quite... it's a little bit smaller. It would probably have to be about 50% bigger. I guess if I'd thought about it (at all) before building it, it would have made sense to do it in the same scale, even if it meant it would take longer (...)   Re: Prototyping

(...) [...] (...) Well, you've got some great parts ideas, and it's your call, but I'd much prefer you reveal 0% of your prototypes.   Another Homer Mosaic

I have seen a number of Homer mosaics displayed here and thought I'd finally add my own. I built it quite awhile ago but never took any pictures.   New MOC: The Chrysler Building

Hi, everybody. I needed a "brain break" yesterday and decided to turn to my pile of LEGO pieces. The result? A 1,500 piece model of The Chrysler Building. (URL) you enjoy it.
