Re: Looking for Resources for Wierd Bulk Parts

(...) Yeah, you're... uh... *really* out of luck as far as bulk is concerned. Trans-Blue plates are tough to come by, period. Apart from 1x1 plates, and 1x1 and 1x2 tiles, there are (according to Peeron it seems) only 4 sets *ever* to come with (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

(...) No, Dave! Your nostalgia has made you goofy. They're talking about the translucent blue 4x8 plate, which you've never even seen! Dave! (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Looking for Resources for Wierd Bulk Parts

(...) I think you're out of luck. According to (URL) , the one and only time these showed up in a set was in the Galaxy Commander (6980) from 1983. LEGO's customer service only has parts from sets made in the past few years. LEGO does not have a (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

Looking for Resources for Wierd Bulk Parts

I happen to have a need as many as 250 of these: (URL) my search, as you can tell, I've found them to be sparsely available. I'm curious about any other places to look. eBay is useless. Can I just call LEGO and make a special order? Am I just out of (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: TA-7 Rotgeist

(...) Yeah, but it still rocks. Look at the... the everything! The torso really stands out though, along with the rifle and shoulders. Very nice! Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: TA-7 Rotgeist

OOOoo! Nice! Just a quick glance was enough to make me realize that this was really a stunning piece of work, but closer examination proved it was lavished in small brilliant details. Like Eric, I love the inverted chest-- took me several minutes to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  runner MOC

A slightly faster variant of the walker that I made. this features a larger power plant, wider hip rotation, and longer feet with a shock absorbing heels. (URL) you can see in the animation, it really scoots along. Even better is that it scoots more (...)   Re: TA-7 Rotgeist

I just had to comment on how nicely refined this model is, Jason. You obviously put quite a bit of effort into the design and coloration of the TA-7 Rotgeist. Other than the feet looking a bit too long (for my tastes), I can find no fault in this (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
