  Re: Minifig Scale Issaquah Ferry

(...) This is awesome to see (whether online or in your living room). I still think that we should have a Sealug meeting where we fill the ferry with minifigs and cars, and the such... kinda make a miniland scene out of it. Anyway, very cool to see. (...)   Re: Minifig Scale Issaquah Ferry

(...) I know about the panels curling, because they aren't truly square, but I haven't had too much trouble with bricks. Hmmm. The curl is definitly related to larger plates. I ended up with many small (approx. 10x20 stud) sections on the Pilot (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Scale Issaquah Ferry

(...) I will be adding a bunch of figs and cars for when it goes on display at the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center at Pier 66 in Seattle beginning next month. Unfortunately, I cannot show all the interior details - they hide too well once the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Gla Gla does it again!

That is incredible. The articulation and the use of TECHNIC joints in the kness and the waist is great. I looks like Gla Gla has been experimenting with new joint technologies. I like that he has shown building pics and cross sections this time! I (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Quilt Shop

After a 3 month slump in building, I found some inspiration again. Over and over I tried working on this little shop. Stopping each time, with no inspiration. Well I've got it back, and the result is a small quilt shop. (URL) have at least one other (...) (...) Thanks Eric, yeah this *IS* fun! (...) I dunno, CV has a nasty habit of digesting small dogs and the dogs in the other end of the leash screams in such high-pitched voices it gives me a headache every time... (...) construction process, and you obviously did a lot of planning with this one. (...) It happens with bricks, too, and with 1x3x4 panels it's pretty extreme. A major bummer for some designs. This is something MLCAD doesn't prepare you for, and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

(...) and it's nice to see it here now. The ferry is very impressive in both scale and design- you've captured the ship quite nicely. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Cayenne Venom, new Mech!

Alright! good stuff, more quadra-ped mecha. Oh oh, look at the parts you used for the Neck! Very cool! Check out the Head. Pretty neat. Effective tail design. I like the colors too. Check out the way you did the lower legs, neat how you used those (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) <snip> (...) Very sweet to look at. I loke how it looks like it's just made up of basic lieces, but still looks exceptionally good! Now get it to the water and see if it floats :) Nice job! Dave K (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Tw0nCo ICU FireMech 1.0 Prototype

(...) Thanks for your ideas and kind comments! Yeah, it's not a finished look just yet. I'm hoping to rebuild with a color scheme as you suggested; just haven't sifted through everything yet to find it all. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Triplane

(...) Thanks, I need all the help I can get! The size of the engine had always bothered me, but I couldn't seem to get it to look right (hence the useless tubing). The plane looked to thin 4-wide, and to fat 6-wide. I stuck with 6-wide and made the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)
