Re: More scale questions (Was: Scale of Lego)

(...) What's even stranger is that the (canadian) horse drawn cart 'gauge' is 4 10 1/2, rather than 4 8 1/2. How do I know this? because the TTC (thats the Toronto Transit Corp) uses 4 10 1/2 rather than standard gauge for the streetcars. Why? (...) Well, at least you are better than I am at drawing lego... :-) It looks good, but I can´t find that arm somewhere... Oh, now I see it. It´s the control stick, right? --Tobias (...) offer (...) if (...) to (...) (25 years ago, 31-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) Don't think so, if the engines were coming from the UK. Standard gauge there is 4' 8 1/2" and as far as I know has always been. Kevin (25 years ago, 31-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

(...) There is perhaps more scope than you think: Q. "I want some less-generic pirates - any ideas?" A. "Use some of the Ninja torso's and Wild West heads, etc etc" While that example is very generalised by virtue of the fact that I just made it up, (...) Cool. Most of this story has been around for a while, thanks for sharing. One nit I had heard in this story is that original gauge is 4 ft 8 rather than 4 8 1/2... when the first engines were imported here to the states the gauge was widened a bit (...)   Microfig Ice Sat V Instructions

Hello all, I hope to soon have pictures of the real thing, but for now, all I can offer is these home cooked instructions. I have real issues with using LDraw, so if you need any help deciphering these, feel free to ask. The scanner seemed to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Thanx, craig... you can call it 'art' as you like [grin]. The Queen of Hearts is 'on hold'.
