  Re: New Mech: Lenze

sorry, big guy, but i scrapped the project. it's not because i got discouraged after seeing your mecha, but rather, i got as far as the lower leg and it just turned out crappy. nonetheless, i thought i'd delve a little into the "chicken walker" (...)   Re: What's a snow daddy to do?

(...) Thanks! (...) Yeah, I hear you. I think the arms are a tad thin in places, used some bits to help beef it up. But it makes for a T-rex sort of effect. Big honking legs and body, little head and wirey arms. Mark (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

Re: What's a snow daddy to do?

That is sweet! it has an awesome mech-monster feel to it, like a rabid dog with it's two front legs cut off! The rocket pack on the back is very nice. I love that head! it's so freaky-dogish, and I like the skis around the neck. one quibble, the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Mech: Lenze

This is awesome! There are so many things here that are out of the ordinary, and I like that alot. The arms and legs are beautiful! smooth, angular, and the color balance in each is near perfect. The shoulders are very nice as well, but I think the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Drill and Hooklift Truck Renders

I've added a couple of new renders to my website, with much of the inspiration coming from fairly recent developments with radiosity mentioned in the lugnet.cad newsgroups. One is a render of the power drill featured on the cover of the "Lego (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

Re: It came from the mists, what kind of beast is this?

(...) Er, light blue I think. It's the baby blue color, like Arnold wears in "Villians." .... Oh, God. Did I just date myself? Mark Snow Daddy Neumann (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: It came from the mists, what kind of beast is this?

(...) Hey! Watch it you whipper-snapper! Dang kids.... (...) Yep, the idea is that the cockpit is build on a hover sled, taking the pilot to safety. Also makes it easy to get in and out. (...) Not at all. New weapon design. Pulse ERPPCs. 2/3 the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) Not quite. There are two mech sets in the make 'n' create line. One will allow you to build 3 minimecha in 3 different colors. The other will allow you to build one large mech. These are the main models, pictured on the cover of the box. From (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO Relief Mosaic: PEGASUS

(...) That's cool! You keep coming up with more innovative styles of mosaics. Calista in ASCII, the SNOT Mad Hatter, and now a relief. What other tricks do you have up your sleeve? Can't wait to see this in person at Brickfest. Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: The Winter Bridge Study

What a GREAT JOB! That is one of the best bridges I've ever seen made out of Lego's. (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

The mecha sets are pretty cool, there are going to be two I think. (different colors) But what is notable about the sets is that they will allow you to build say, four small mechs, two medium sized mechs, or one really big mech. There may or may not (...)   Re: LEGO Relief Mosaic: PEGASUS

(...) Wow. (speechless as always...) Is there a backing on this or is that just one brick thick (except for the extra stud in depth of the raised areas)? Haven't you run out of room yet?! John #388 (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

  Re: LEGO Relief Mosaic: PEGASUS

(...) Once again, an inspiring job. Unlike your Mad Hatter, this one gives me hope that maybe I could actually make a mosaic ;) Again, very nicely done! Can't wait to see what you do next! Take care Dave K (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Mini-mecha from Lego?

I was checking out FBTB.net, and I came across this picture: (URL) anyone have the scoop on what these mini-sets are about? are those little mini mecha sets? Anyone at Brickswest know what's up? Chris (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
