Re: Halloween Lego Design Contest Reminder and Update

(...) All the backslashes in the URLs in the code of the first page shouldn't be there. The rest of the site works fine. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: Halloween Lego Design Contest Reminder and Update

(...) I can't view it--Compuserve says that page 2 and all images aren't on the server! I get broken-image links. Has something awful happened? LFB (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Blue Air Tanks

Regarding those elusive blue air tanks, I've sent a distress signal to Emmanuel of DYA Shopping to see if a special buy could be arranged. Thanks to Mario Ferrari who provided the catalog number. Truly an international effort. Let's hope Emmanuel (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

  Revised Color Line Truck

I am slowly migrating my current site to a new and managed to add a couple of pictures of my six wide Color Line truck at (URL) good or bad, welcome. Better pictures of the cabs should show up in a couple of more days. -- Paul Foster (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Scale Lawn Tractor

  request for information

I am not a regular member of this group, so I apologize for the interruption. I am a public relations specialist and event coordinator from Salt Lake City, and I am currently planning the Bar Mitzvah for the 13-year old son of a very wealthy man. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Halloween Lego Design Contest Reminder and Update

(...) I glad you enjoyed it! When I saw those particular pieces I knew I *had* to use them for the double bowl kitchen sink and stove. I had a great time designing them and am very pleased with how they turned out. (You have no idea how long it took (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: modified 8880's?

(...) Thanks. Reason I'm asking is I got an email from a 12-year-old in Finland who's tricked one out with a v12 engine, gullwing doors, and fiber optics in the engine. I'll let you know if there's a web pointer when he gets back to me. -Tim (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

  Lubricating Cylinders

(...) I've noticed that some of my cylinders are a bit "sticky" or sound like they are grinding. The small cylinders and pumps have a lubricant on them already. On a side note, I'd be careful about what kind of oil I put into these cylinders, since (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

Re: Evolutionary programming to build LEGO bridge

I've just updated my LEGO Site: (URL) the space/Star Wars buffs: The model of the month (based on your ratings) is the Colonial Viper.   Minifig Scale Lawn Tractor

I don't know what I was thinking, but I had fun building this with the kids...and they love it. If your town needs a kid cutting the lawn, here's your tractor. I wish I hadn't given away all my Timmys from the great Time Twisters Purchase. Do you (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Evolutionary programming to build LEGO bridge

Jeremy: (...) Since they just use evolutionary programming to _design_ constructions, I doubt that they would ever need Mindstorms. Their claims about the lightness of the table[1] is most dubious.
