I am not a regular member of this group, so I apologize for the interruption.
I
am a public relations specialist and event coordinator from Salt Lake City, and
I am currently planning the Bar Mitzvah for the 13-year old son of a very
wealthy man. The kid loves Legos, so we thought it would be fun to get some
original pieces together as part of the decorations. Problem is, the event is
scheduled for Nov. 5 and 6, and I got the project five days ago, so I'm a
little
pressed for time.
I am looking for any Lego sculptors in Utah, preferably Salt Lake, who has
completed creations which they are willing to rent or sell (or loan to a worthy
cause!). Failing there, I would like to know if there are stores in the U.S.
which rent or sell completed Legos pieces. I have already been in touch with
Legos and I am waiting for a response.
I was referred to this site by Ed Boxer, whose own site left me speechless. I
have to be honest, the best I could ever do with my Lego sets was lose the
pieces. Anyway, if you are in Utah and have some incredible Lego creations and
would like to make some money, please let me know, e-mail
leavittdon@hotmail.com.
Thanks for you time. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
