Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

(...) Well that's certainly ONE view of what he's doing, yes. Please forgive me for snickering out loud when I read the above paragraph, though. Ronald, you may want to check your assumptions a lot more carefully before you proclaim that you're sure (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

Rev. Brendan, Wow, I am so impressed. I have been collecting Lego for some time now and have worried that I have been to materialistic in my collecting. I have so often thought and prayed to find some way to honor and give glory to God with this. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Holy Cow Gla Gla!!!...!!!

i just saw it last night. what a creation! i was so enthralled that i showed my wife. needless to say her reaction was less enthusiastic than mine. i find that the coolest transformer is one where the mecha doesn't even look like it would transform (...)   Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) Fantastic! I especially like the solar separators, they don't even look like a lame part, they look quite fitting! The Manta Ray isn't technically part of the ship, but I guess we'll let you off! James (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Holy Cow Gla Gla!!!...!!!

Jeez! This is by far the coolest mecha I HAVE EVER SEEN! I found it on the Lego Robo Plan, the Japanese mecha site and knew it had to be Gla Gla's I check his gallery next and ho' nuff there it was! The darned coolest mixture of ABS I have ever (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

Hey all, Here is my entry for the Lame parts contest. As always comments and critiques are always welcome.   Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

Brendan, Great work as always. Some comments: Egyptians Plundered: Hey, the Egyptians gave them their lightsabers! That'll come in handy when the Israelites want to fight off the Amelikites or the Cannanites or the Sith-ites. Egyptians Drowned: I (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

MichLTC train/town display at local NMRC show, Livonia MI

The Michigan Lego Train Club displayed in Livonia this past Sunday. While this was an extremely small layout for us because of limited setup time, I think we had a very strong display with a lot of great detail. Many of the buildings have already (...)   Re: How many brick separators do you need if a brick separator could split bricks?

(...) And then there are those Brick Separators that are not as good as others. I have some that I had to file a bit off the bottom to avoid damage to bricks. Otherwise, they didn't work well and the resulting damage was more than I was comfortable (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: T-9 Rhino

No problem, Eric. 8) I'm a little proud of the story, as it's the first lego stuff I've written in quite some time, so I just wanted to point it out. Thanks, again. Ben Ben Vaughan ---...--- (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: T-9 Rhino

Thanks, Tony. I wish I could spend more time building, etc. Mostly everyting is virtual now, I don't do much with real blocks, except to prototype things. Do you know how fast a 3 year old can destroy a mecha? 8). Anyway, thanks for the cudos, I (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mountain/Quarry (and more on church)

(...) Here are a few more pics I found by just iterating the numbers on Peter's images.. (you may find some dead spots but just keep iterating. there's lots to see besides just my stuff.   Mountain/Quarry

I have been dropping hints in various places about the "big project" that had been consuming a lot of time. It was revealed at the MichLTC show yesterday.   Re: Follow-up to (Re: This is Where I Build (Quasi Roll Call))

Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) Yeah, talk about As Ye Shall Sow... anyway, I've gotta say the solutions some people have come up with to hold the football in place are amazing. In the last day or so I've made a small lameparts model, but I used blu-tack for the football and (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

I made up the ML-CAD model as my very first one ever and so it comes totally without support in the inside: you cannot build it at at all. So all tricks are only used in the real (...)
