Hey Allister, Great contest! I spent four hours getting a ship built last night. I will email you pictures as soon as I get them done. What a blast! I haven't had so much fun building in a long time. (...) I think you've hit the nail on the head here Eric. To me, the most logical way of looking at a robot arm would be from the point of view of the end effector, i.e. what it can and cannot do.
