I was messing around with minifigs while sorting bricks this weekend and I decided to try uploading to Brickshelf for the first time and see how pictures turn out. Well, got to see your pics, and I just had a complete deja vu (sp?) experience! Your saber looks just like one of my OLD mechas. Not exactly the same granted, your torso is way better! Ahh...that reminds me of the good old days as a child going to my local HO shop to see the layout they had upstairs... Makes me wonder why someone doesn't eventually open up a retail shop like that, to sell used Legos and have a layout in the front (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.build)

I just was messing around with those 3X2 wedge pieces and those horizontal hinge plates, and found an interesting build for a mecha torso. I then added on to that and built the rest of the torso and arms. I also used car doors so i could have the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
