I just was messing around with those 3X2 wedge pieces and those horizontal
hinge plates, and found an interesting build for a mecha torso. I then added
on to that and built the rest of the torso and arms. I also used car doors
so i could have the minifigs head be inside the mecha's cockpit. Then after
the torso i tried a number of leg designs and chose the one that looked the
best.
I got some inspiration from all those zaku designs floating around out
there, heres the folder (after its moderated)

| Well, got to see your pics, and I just had a complete deja vu (sp?) experience! Your saber looks just like one of my OLD mechas. Not exactly the same granted, your torso is way better! Anywho, I like what you have done, the colors go well and it (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
