(...) second (...) As part of a different project, I wrote a snippet of code that would maintain a specific speed regardless of the surface. It's based on a rotation sensor target vs. time. Got up in the middle of the night, moved the slip-clutch to a different position in the drive train (now attached directly to the motor shaft, in fact). Get much better results -- can drive across carpet without breaking a sweat. Should have thought (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)
