  Re: Abston Church

(...) ...THANK YOU!! What a wonderful work of architecture!!! I got to see it before being taken down, and I don't recall these overall views. They're just stunning, in a word! And I was deeply moved by Precious' involvement in your project...she (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) crossed! (...) Very frustrating indeed. I find it hard to believe that SAH was not able to provide these pieces. When will they understand that brick packs are very very important? (...) Yes...much better...I agree. There is a better harmony (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: A Mid Summer's Study

Adrian, Fantastic and creative use of regular bricks to make beautifully functional works of architecture! Works like this inspire me to try hard to do something different, and are the reason I joined Lugnet. I'm muchly impressed with the simple (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: A Mid Summer's Study

Thanks for your complement. I did consider using the 1x2 in the manner you mention. It would have been easier to set down the bricks above (a 2x8 sitting above a single column of 1x1s 14 bricks high) and could easily been purchased through SAH. I (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

Thank you. OK, here are the full dimensions: Overall height: 78 bricks (light gray = 71, dark gray = 7) Height at track's elevation: 75 bricks Overall length: 144 studs (equivalent to 18 straight rails) Distance from midpoint to midpoint of the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: A Mid Summer's Study

Thanks for the compliment! Cross your finger for 2003. You're right; it did take some time. Part of the hold up were the number of brick link I had to make just to finish it. One moment I thought I was OK, then discovered I needed more. (What really (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: A Mid Summer's Study

(...) WOW. That is very nice, I am especially impressed with study 4. Most people commented about the train tracks, but I was really taken by that one. I mean - it's *diagonal*! That's a lovely use of bricks, and you can't really tell that from the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: Jamocklaquat - Mission Two Completed - Left Arm and More!

i am only replying to this one because i think it is rude to reply to your own after 30 min. I got this great idea, of how you could go with the fully posible legs, and have the sculptured lock as well!!! all you would need to do is to put some sort (...)   Re: Jamocklaquat - Mission Two Completed - Left Arm and More!

My best creation, so far, is based on a lot of other stuff i have seen around. the ankles a ball joints and the feet are Armored Core meets Robotech kind of a thing, the legs are roughly copied (when i say roughly, i mean look nothing alike) from (...)   Re: New Mecha Combat Federation MOC: AKP-Fournier

(...) Ha Ha Ha :^) Thanks dude! It is a chore to that minifig in and out, I have to pull the chest and head off, but it stays in one piece. But I justify it as ok 'cause if the minifig could itself, he would be able to squeeze himself in and out! (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha Combat Federation MOC: AKP-Fournier

  Re: A Mid Summer's Study

That is a very pretty bridge, Adrian. If 1x1 bricks are a problem, I believe that bricks 1 x 2 would look quite nice also, when the're placed in such a way that one of their narrow sides is facing outwards. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.build)

Since all the new Minifig parts (hand, left/right arms) are now available on the LDraw.org Parts Tracker, I though I'd make a minifig using them. The render can be found here: (URL) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.minifigs)
