Cool, you saw the head .mpg (!!!)
When I work with gears the goal is to not only provide enough touque, but
the movement has gotta be just fast enough so that when you look at the
articulation, it doesn't put you to sleep because it's too slow.
So over time I have developed a few gearing schemes that help keep the
torque up and the speed to enjoyable obsevable limit. Whew!
> So, how 'bout them legs? Are we going to see the kick-out pose? Kiyyaaaaa!
Ok here's the deal, When I made GG the thing got so big I ended up going for
the sculpture look. I sacrificed the articulation inorder to support the Mech.
With the Jamocklaquat I'm at a fork in the road:
I want the entire thing to be Robotic, the arms and the head move, so
naturally I want the legs to work. If it's a biped the reallity is I'd have
to work for Honda or be your room mate inorder to make it walk. If I make
the Mech like RG I have a chance at seeing the thing walk accross the floor
in a tripod gate. When I made RG I wanted to expand on the design sometime
in the future. This may be my chance. The Super Mech-Bot will have the same
leg design. So everything I do will teach me to accomplish the goal of
completing the Super Mech-Bot.
But!!!! I have this vision of the Jamocklaquat haunching down with big o'l
Gargallion Feet ready to pounce on the BMW.
Since your one of my biggest peers, I'll tell you what, I got something
brewing that will make good on my promise of a Mech w/Side Kick out. You'll
see! (!!!)
