Nice little tank! I think you can probably play around with some 1x2x1 thinwalls and actually get a minifig in the turret hatch. The Japanese did actually make some nice looking armor, but for some reason I can't fathom, never made it to mass (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

That's a plan I like to use too. I'll just dip into a bunch of little parts, often Technic, or even just plain o'l bulk 2x4's and 1x2's and just goof around. I'd suggest trying to build in a different theme for a bit. Rather than make a new space ship, try making a garbage truck or a medieval castle or a technic crane or a mecha or something.
