Ice Planet Contest Entry! - Frost Fly (Blizzard Baron alternate)

Here's an entry for category VII - Alternates. This one is a Blizzard Baron altnernate, making use of all but 5 of the pieces from the stock set and using nothing outside the set. It's been a while since I've attempted an alternate and I'd forgotten (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  DracoMech 5000

I made this a while ago but haven't been able to get decent pictures of it. But I decided I would post what I have any way. It is a mech design based on a dragon form. Find it here: (URL) is made mostly from 2 Technic Stormtrooper sets and a bohrok. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha) !

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Okay, I think I have it now. I saved the ldarw files to my brickshelf folder, so I hope this works. I'm relatively new at this, so I hope I'm not getting you impatient. <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet No. 1112 (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Nope, sorry. The current documents look like element lists. A DAT or MPD file will have coordinates plotted. You want to open both MOC MPD files, and export or merely save them as DAT files or MPD files. Try posting those. -- The Ice Worm (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Thanks for the comments! It's great to know that I at least had a viable attempt at a submission. Perhaps I should post here more often :) (many thanks to the coding as well. I'm still a newbie at POV Ray) Oh yeah, Ice Planet is one of my (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Thanks. For my first MOC, I didn't know what the response would be. Yes, this was an original design, but the Unitron Starhawk II did inspire me, as well as the X wing, and a personal design of mine based on a story I'm writing as of now. (...)   Re: Lego & DVD

(...) Ahoy there, mate! Welcome aboard! :-) (...) Hmmm... you can DO that? I didn't know - I thought only DVDs would work on the player, not CDs. It's a great info to me, now I have another argument when I talk my dad into buying one! (...) Out of (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build)

  Lego & DVD

Greetings! This is my first post on Lugnet; I am grateful for this excellent resource. I recently acquired most of the parts for the Skull's Eye Schooner (6286). I printed the instructions from Brickshelf, but my printer isn't that great and I had (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.build)

  1592 Paradisa Style

Hello@all, the german AFOL "MF-Eddie" built the <set:1592> (Town Square) out of Paradisa-related bricks. As there is no story you need to translate, please have a look at: (URL) visit this gallery.   New mecha (coming soon)

After a little bit of time away from lego (but with a clean house) I began building mecha again. I have five new mecha in differing stages of completion. I have two new LSM-09 Intruder variants. The first is the LSM-09A-2. An improved A type. The (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Star Falcon XVI

Battleforce has long been in need of a modern stealth scoutship, and it is only recently that Starforce Engineering has gotten the funding necessary to design and build one. The result of this effort is the Star Falcon XVI. Its features include two (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)

Yikes! Another goof up... Joseph is competing under Category VI Bases -- as he had originally wanted to do and despite his posting under Category X. Joseph had asserted to me via email that he thought he exceeded the element count for Category VI (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Announcing the 2nd Annual Space Set Design and Building Contest -- Part II: Ice Planet 2002!

(...) hehe well I had wondered if it broke clause #1. I got this idea after looking at some new ip entries and then right away checking out the new 1592 island theme. The mental leap wasn't too far from there. It was just a matter of resources then. (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) tanky Bruce =) The robots were for lack of Ice Planet dudes, but they add to the flavour. The snowbeast was from IceWorm's (fear him) trotter. Yea the colour scheme is pretty bent I think the designers had gotten a few too many factory fumes (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)
