The fabulous - Building Idea Book #1

(Reprinted from RTL.LEGO) I've been wanting to get the very first Lego idea book posted here for some time ..... Ah! Someone else beat me to the "publishing" punch.   Re: Fire Engine MOC

(...) Yes, it rotates and elevates. Too bad LEGO doesn't make a hinge that depresses as well, as it wouldn't hurt to be able to depress a few degrees to handle car and trash fires. (...) back... (...) No, they're a single set, but I'll play around (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fire Engine MOC

1. Does the "deck gun" rotate? 2. The wheels at the back look like they should be a little further back... or perhaps a double set? -- Scott A Edinburgh, Scotland. (URL) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Colonial Viper

Not as impressive, but if you want to see another Viper MOC, take a look at: (URL) model is under the "Original Creations" link. It is black though, I don't have enough grey parts.   Re: New web pages

Can I purchace the new SuperCar 8448 online? Is it only for S@H? Will it be in any toy stores like Zaney Brainie or TRU? Thanks, Dave (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Colonial Viper

(...) Thanks! Before I cleaned up the LEGO in the LEGO room and sorted all of it (which took about 4 weeks, on and off), I wasn't sure I'd have enough of those pieces.   Re: Colonial Viper

(...) Thanks! (...) That was one of my main goals, which wasn't so easy considering my limited supply of orange (I had to use 1x4 plates vertically in the tail for lack of 1x1 bricks) Although I usually apply stickers to TLG models when I buy them, (...)   Re: Colonial Viper

This is really great! The coloring is wonderful, and I love your use of the 1X2 rounded brick/place combo pieces--especially on the front. Nice job detailing the cockpit, too. And nice POV work. -John Van P.S. I hope I've been effusive enough for (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)

Re: Check out my minifig-scale Droideka

(...) Is there any chance someone could post a picture of the model, either a photo or the rendering? I am on a SunStation running UNIX w/ X, from which I can't run DOS programs, and I'd love to see the model. Any ideas? Thanks, Shaun (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

Re: 2x2 plate with hole ?

Thanks again, I can tell from looking at the instructions for that set I'll need the 2x2 with one hole not two. After a little trial and error I figured out that the lugnet set/piece inventory refers to it as a 2x2 plate with 90° female joint (...) (25 years ago, 22-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
