  Re: NOM-03 Eva 14

(...) Thanks, I am glad you approve of the Eva! The machine gun was primary inspired by your creations (I remeber you having built an exquisite mini gun some time ago). Your creations are always accompined by a very impressive arsenal. (...) I will (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-03 Eva 14

(...) Thanks! I am glad you remember the first design (which had to be scraped). (...) I believe this mecha falls short of becoming an Eva as well. I know that I have to work on my building skills as well, but my best friend (who is well versed in (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MS 07 "Long Skirt"

(...) That is so very, very beautiful. I like the greeblies that are appearing on parts of it--the only thing missing is more. I can't wait to see more pics and the rifle! LFB (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Proof of Principle: Click-Turntable 'Mech Legs

Hi everyone, This is just a little building technique tester I put together to showcase the possibilities of the click turntable in .mecha building-- I haven't yet seen anyone do this, so if I've overlooked someone else making the same discovery I (...)   Re: MS 07 "Long Skirt"

(...) On larger models the studs just become a minor surface texture, on smaller ones they can interfere with the clean lines and look messy. (...) 05 was a rebuild of 01. I wasn't really satisfied with its technology and so made 07. The only part (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  ice hockey jerseys with decals

Hi folks, Here's another example of the glee that can be had with water-slide decals. What with the NBA tie in coming up, I was inspired to make these. The Nets might be in the basketball finals, but I'm a hockey fan first and foremost so I made (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) everything a very "puffy" feel. Great job! I can't believe the near pristine condition of those white hoses... And dig it, I just received 2 Celestial Sleds in the mail -- your design makes the TLC designs look like ****! 'Nuff said. -- The (...)   Re: MS 07 "Long Skirt"

(...) Wow! Look at all of those studs! It's quite a contrast from, say, mladen's mecha; As he tries to decease the number of studs visible, you're increasing them! Is this a rebuild of 05? I liked 05 a lot - especially the two tone grey and red. But (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Page Updated

(...) I should think just add them in to the existing page -- there's no reason to give the non-competing category any more or less weight than the other categories. If you are worried about having too much image "weight" on the page, the images (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Page Updated

An additional question: There is no category listed for non-competing entries. Should I make a different page for them, or should I add that category? Thanks, Curt Tigges (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  MS 07 "Long Skirt"

Another ground combat model, the 07 "Long Skirt" improves on the 06 skeleton technology and armor configuration (check out the equivalent 06 pics in my gallery to see the subtle design evolution).   Re: NOM-03 Eva 14

(...) I like it. Nice building style, sort of doing whatever it takes to get the shape you want. You've entered a new phase, an improvement over the brick stacking you did in the past. The only thing that looks kind of funky on this EVA are the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Frostbite Hoverbike

Hey, thanks Gil. This basic design has been in my arsenal for quite some time; I just never got the black and green version posted. So I figured this was a good time to change it a bit. :-) White, blue, and trans. orange? What *were* they thinking? (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)
