Definitely an improvement over the first design.
As an MOC, I think this is a very good mecha.  I like theat you are using t-bot
gearboxes for some of the joints; this looks more substantial than a "puppet"
as K would say.

Thanks!  I am glad you remember the first design (which had to be scraped).

As an EVA, I think it is an ambitious attempt, but it falls a bit short of what
I would visualize.  Please don't get me wrong - I think an EVA is probably the
hardest mecha to build out of lego, with it's muscle tone and thin design.  You
have come about as close to succeeding as anyone else I've seen, with the
exception of Sun Yun.  Even here, I think part of the success of his design is
the fact that the mecha is black.  The lack of muscle tone doesn't show as
much; it's more like looking at the shadow of an EVA, which seems more
convincing.

I believe this mecha falls short of becoming an Eva as well.  I know that I
have to work on my building skills as well, but my best friend (who is well
versed in Lego and Evangelion) claims that I am trying to do the impossible and
Lego simply has its limitations.  While I don't agree with him, I am curious to
discover what other people think about organic mechas built with Lego.

Still, an excellent model overall, with a lot of innovative use of parts.  I
like especially how your building style has changed over time.  I've seen four
of your mecha, and each one looks completely different!

I am trying not to develop a single style until I decide in what I want to
specialize in, but I don't think it is working very well (ZERO and 02 are
extremely similar for example).

Say, considering you are "Neo OZ", and you have all of those red parts, may I
suggest that you construct a Mercurius?  The Mercurius and the Vayeate have to
be my two favorite Oz mobile suits.  I especially like how they were designed
to work as a team.
Just a thought...

He he :) I nearly all out of red, but I will be building a mecha similar to the
Mercurius in the distant future (NOM-08 if all goes well).

Keep up the great work!
Chris

Thanks for the comments and I promise that I will try to get a few more MS
during the summer.
