   Hi everyone,

This is just a little building technique tester I put together to
showcase the possibilities of the click turntable in .mecha building--
I haven't yet seen anyone do this, so if I've overlooked someone else
making the same discovery I apologize.

But what I discovered is that macaroni, 4x4 radar dishes, and 4x4
wedge pieces make a very cool hip design--which may be useful for
Battletech-style mechs and (possibly!) AT-ST/AT-TE sorts of build-
   ing.

These are basic pictures, but the posability of the legs is excellent.
I'm looking into adding a lateral hinge at hip level but for large
numbers of small mechs this works quite well.  I've loaded a bunch
of bricks atop this construction and it's remained stable--something
about the 4x4 click turntable makes it unusually resistant to collapse,
and it seems to contribute to stability of the overall leg structure.

Any thoughts would be welcome, and as always, feel free to borrow
any or all of this structure for your own MOCs--it's my only way
of "giving back" to the .mecha community.

   best

   LFB
