  Updated Building Pics

I am gradually updating pics of my buildings, and in most cases the pics will reflect changes here and there that I've made. Since most of my MOCs pics before this year were actually stills from a video camera, they are not very sharp-- but now I (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  MoTeC Winners: April

Hi all! After some fuss about rules etc. I've decided to keep the model that "broke" the rules since it's rulebrake was minor and of no use for the model. Sorry about the locomotion. Overall winner: Brian Sadowski with his Shrimp rover! 29% of the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

Re: The Cadillac of the Skies

So many gems, so little time (to post). The promo poster is a beauty...really captures that 50's glam-ad look that the big 3 used, to say nothing of the sleek little number it depicts. Seeing this make me think that a small civvie vehicle run of MOC (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Battleship Soon Beginning Construction, Need Ideas and Tips

(...) Well... If you build decks by; laying down plates, then covering the seems with 2 wide bricks, then laying down another layer of plates; you can get away with very minimal supports. (like the walls of your rooms/bays should suffice) Of course (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: The Cadillac of the Skies

(...) I am surprised that their are no replies to this. Your 'caddy' is very cool looking. Strictly from a design stand point it is much better than the TLC 'taxi'. Of course their design was intended to mimic the speeder from Episode 2. -Mike (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Official crash report

(...) I'm sorry, the contract went to our own Internal Cleaning crew. Not that we need them very often, they usually travel from space dock to space dock and play pingpong, more appropriatly called table tenis. Yep, they are #2 ranked.. (...) Yes (...)   Re: Battleship Soon Beginning Construction, Need Ideas and Tips

Actually, it would be nicer if this kind of discussion happened in public (i.e., one of these forums). I'm quite the novice builder when it comes to larger things (hell, I'm quite the novice builder, period). I wouldn't mind seeing pics and reading (...)   Battleship Soon Beginning Construction, Need Ideas and Tips

I will soon be drawing plans for a very large ship, bigger than any I have attempted before. I have analyzed the structures and building methods of my other ships and have concluded that they will be inadequate for this ship I am planning. So, I am (...)   Re: Ice Planet 2002 Contest Website is Up and Running

Here's a thought, How about adding links to the winners of other space contests. I found the 2000 contest here on lugnet but the other seems to evade me. But even if the page is accessed another way, I think it would be a welcome addition with (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Adam

Very cool... I like how you restrict yourself to using only Technic and Bionicle parts. Your mecha also have a great, natural, curved look to them. Oh, and the articulation you pack into your MOCs is awesome too. Keep up the excellent work Jeff! (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
