Someone asked me by email what I was talking about when I described a "Freestyle bucket". It's set number 4128, and I got one a couple weeks ago in a small toy store in the northeast US for $21.56 (which was 20% off list price, they were having a (...) As someone who likes attention to detail, I have to agree. I've spent about an hour looking at the details in this diorama. I especially like your attention to the window treatments. (...) Those are the best ships I have EVER seen! They actually look real, and they are far better than anything TLG has come up with, be it an actual set or not.   new pneumatic cylinders?
 
I built the 8448 last week. Clever set, fun to build. Last night I picked it up, and the gull-wing doors wouldn't open. Turns out the new 'pneumatic'/'hydraulic' cylinders were both broken, the springs had pushed down into the cylinders. Apparently, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Okay everyone, I have removed all MIDIs from my site. I decided that would be best because of other peoples' opinions, as well as their (the MIDIs) inconsistency <sp?>; some pages had them, some didn't, and it was not easy to tell which ones had (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
