Amen, those I don't mind. I didn't even think to mention the
annoying/embarassing aspect of encountering sound like that at work.
All those stupid midi sounds, even if you like them the first time or
two, get REAL old REAL fast. It almost makes me think the people who
use them on their pages never actually surf to their pages to look at
them/be subjected to the noise.
Again, not trying to personally attack anyone here, but I think most
people would agree that instant sounds on web pages is as much a sign
of a novice page creator as BLINKblinkBLINK everywhere.
