Thanks, Eric. I went through about five shoulder designs to get those arms attached. This is not the dragon I envisioned a few months ago. That idea led to an failed attempt at a sea serpent/dragon. Thanks for replying, Geordan. Aside from a few things, I'm pleased with the way this dragon turned out. The reason why it doesn't seem to look as refined is probably because I was trying to finish it in time for Anthony Sava's contest. The deadline (...) Oh man that is too cool! The Back where the engines are is great the wings are great, the details under all the flaps are great, the landing gear is great. Hey K! I got the Red Worms from the Sizzler Throw-bot I think. The Red Shocks came from an Alpha Team set, the one with the shooting black worm turret car deal. Thanks Tobbe! Although they are identical they have slight differences. I make a point of loving them equally. I completed the LRB in about 3 days. Building Lego Mecha for the past 15 years + has taught me patience. I can even snatch the peeble from (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey Tony, You have a nice looking site there. The minifig heads are really cool. :-P I'd go for some sort of background color, but that's just me. Well here it is. My second attempt at a mech. Funny thing is they're just not getting any bigger :). I'm pleased with this one and I feel it came out ok. I got my hands on some of the giant balloon tires that come with the power puller and the newest big Technic car, and decided to retrofit them onto my Jeep Cherokee model to see just how silly a Jeep Cherokee Monster Truck would look. Stuart this is really something! wow! This mecha has such a cool shape! It's all so smooth and everything blends together so well. Dear Lego®-Enthusiasts, our 9th public show took place in Muelheim (somewhat north of Cologne) today. It was the so far biggest event (at least concerning visitors count). Geordan, nice mecha. there are quite a few things i like about it, but let me just mention the nicest. first off, i think the two weapons are quite nicely done. very good. the hands are cool too. the whole jetpack thing works well w/ the model, (...) Wow, that's quite a model. Here are my thoughts: The legs are simply great. I like the feet the most. The knees are cool too. Well done. Hey, it's good to see a new Mech from you. This one is really unussual! I dig the way you did the back pack / rocket pack. I always tell people, "you gotta have a Jet Pack! right?" One word: FINALLY! geez, I have been having so much trouble getting a mecha together since January, but FINALLY I got something finished. :-) After the hokum, I got about 3/4 of the way done on a winter combat mecha...that died...then I tried a (...)
