Geordan,
nice mecha. there are quite a few things i like about it, but let me just
mention the nicest. first off, i think the two weapons are quite nicely
done. very good. the hands are cool too. the whole jetpack thing works well
w/ the model, imho. now...the odd part. i like the, though it's odd, the
whole 4x4 cylinder belly thing you did. strange, but it seems to work w/ the
mecha. the head is nice. now...from the hips to the knees, fairly normal.
however, from the knees to the toes, it looks very unique. i like the whole
skinny calf and big long feet thing. an all around good model. good job.

One word: FINALLY!

geez, I have been having so much trouble getting a mecha together since
January, but FINALLY I got something finished. :-)

After the hokum, I got about 3/4 of the way done on a winter combat
mecha...that died...then I tried a hardsuit...finished it, but it wasn't
worth posting...then I tried building a large scale mecha...that was so dead
by the time I was up to the waist, it wasn't worht trying to fix what was there.

but FINALLY. :-D

sorry for the cruddy/small pics, I'd like to go back and take some new ones
within this week hopefully.

anyways, it's called the Tosai, it has two main weapons, a large beam rifle,
and a small anti-infantry type gun. four smoke dischargers mounted in the
arms. It can hover for short amounts of time via the jets on the back.
There's my spiel.

Anyways, Credits to my buddy Mladen, specifically, on the hands, I combined
the dated minifig feet idea with his newest hand desgin, credits there. The
almost no studs showing construction is credit to him and his wolf as well.
Also, I used Chris Snead's stiffened hinge design in the hips.

I think that's it!

lemme know what you think! :-D

FINALLY! :^P
