  Re: New Mek Tek Mecha

You seem to be improving in your work. I like the colors (I work in grey and blue ALOT). You seem to have a good humanoid figure there. There is one thing I noticed...your feet don't angle with the leg splay, they stay perpendicular to the leg. You (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-02 Deathscythe Hell

I could just hear Metallca's "Enter Sandman" in the back of my mind when I was looking at those pics. That motha is HUGE!!! I like your handling of the wing-thingies and the horned shoes. Now all you need is a Duo minifig!!!! I would LOVE to see the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO wedding cake

The outer ring of pieces are held by a few studded plates along the baseplate. Those outer pieces 'corral' the interior slices in. I have a new picture showing the six removed slices, and how the would fill the missing wedge: (...) (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Guardian Armored Issan

(...) Hey Geordan, Thanks! My goal when building is to try to fill out the form as much as possible so it looks solid. With the new parts it's a little bit easier to do that. I'm glad you liked it! :-D (23 years ago, 9-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Coolio's... Now you can have your cake.... but errr can't eat it either! Ya know I was watching the end of a program yesterday that said America's most dangerous food was a Wedding Cake! Have no idea what that was meant by. Excellent work and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Howdy! (...) Yamato? Great Eastern/Western? A type XXIII U-boat? ;-) Space is good for architects, true LEGOists deny it. Have fun building again! Pedro (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Pain Made Tangible

Hats *off*. A moment of silence for the old girl, she was the best ever built... And my compliments, LFB, well done with the disassembly. When I took apart Atlas two weeks ago I was a bit more... shall we say brutal? Me, the *real* Atlas (a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) don't know who Emeril is? Check out "Emeril Live" on FoodTV - not just another cooking show...) The idea of making it come apart into slices is brilliant! How are the slices held in place, though, before they are removed? Can you take more (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  LEGO wedding cake

Hi all, A quick announcement: I've not yet proofread the webpage (I'm in a bit of a hurry), but here's my latest LEGO creation: (URL) ---...--- Eric Harshbarger / eric@ericharshbarger.org / www.ericharshbarger.org "Oh please, if people are going to (...)   Water skiing, LEGO style

I've been messing about with 4-wide cars, because I am working on an auto bridge (which you can see in the background of some of these pics) for our train club's layout. I built a pickup truck, and included a tow-hitch (using the 1x2 plate with bent (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC: Mi-24 Hind-D SOV (Special Operations Variant)

(...) An incredible MOC, an incredible backstory. I like them both! A handful of questions: -How did you get the fifth blade on the rotor? -Is that a customized tile on the front of the rocket pod? -The canopies: Have you thought about placing (...)   Re: Heavy Missile Truck

(...) Excellent truck, Jeff! My friend just forwarded the link to me -- I sadly hadn't seen it sooner. I've been trying to think of how to make a pop-up missile pod for a SAM-site, could you give me any pointers on how you made yours? -- Mark Nelson (...)   Re: New MOC: Mi-24 Hind-D SOV (Special Operations Variant)

Magnus, You've certainly got a point about the main rotor...I'd originally fitted a four-blade model to my Hind too, back before I started going over the aircraft again for realism. It was a close call for me too, but after long consideration I took (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.military)
