Re: Two New Models : Monster and Temple

Good job Sun, these are great. I really enjoyed checking them out during the event. They have all sorts of design qualities that I like very much. I look foward to seeing more detailed pix or more to the point, it will be cool for others to see just (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) Glad you liked it. A photo op presented itself when I unpacked 03. This is the first time I've had four of them standing up together, though 06 doesn't have lower leg armor yet. (...) The load bearing on the turntables is good, but it seems (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) Hey, that's REALLY cool! But I gotta say, I'm sure glad I'm not one of them minifigs... you wouldn't catch me on something that steep! hehe Great job Matt! Mel (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

  I-wing and J-wing

Hey all. I just finished my 2 latest Star Wars fighters, bringing the total up to 8 so far. I'm going to refer you to a slightly different address this time: (URL) Oklahoma address is a mirror for this one but its been very slow lately. The Dallas (...)   Two New Models : Monster and Temple

Two of three(maybe 4) new mechs that will be posted when I finish redesigning my site. These are just studio shots since I suppose people have seen some of the pics already from Brickswest. (URL) Brickswest was fun guys. Sorry I didn't get a chance (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Sculpture MOC: Teddy Bear

(...) Thanks! I appreciate that. --Bill. We missed you at BricksWest, by the way. I hope you can make it next year... I almost didn't make it due to financial reasons, but managed to get a ride and arrange to share a campsite to keep costs down. But (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

That's one heck of a first attempt man!! I like the execution on the legs, it look really utilitarian and tough. All the greebles around the base rock, they go together well. You started to lose me on the turret. It seems a bit too tall, I think it (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Sculpture MOC: Teddy Bear

(...) That little guy's adorable :) Good job. I'd love to see it next to my Pooh bear. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

Looks like someone's been watching Patlabor 2. ;-) Hmmm... This is pretty good for a first mecha Jamie. The "Guard Dog" definitely qualifies as a mecha (not the FASA "mech" <shudder>), since it bears an uncanny resemblence to the quadruped, (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Guard Dog robot mech

Well this is my first attempt at a mech lego creation. I'm not even sure if you could call it a mech. I don't know what it would be catorgorized as. I call it the "Guard Dog". www.jneufeld.20megsf...icles.html LMKWYT Jamie Neufeld (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) with the new AT pieces, and the little "power crystal" engine is cool. The arms look a bit short and awkward in comparison to the rest of the model, however. I don't know... maybe it's the way they start big and then get skinny and have little (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) Brian, Very very nice new MS. The yellow really pops out the details. Especially the yellow on the face. I had the pleasure of putting your 03 together at BricksWest. I am still amazed at how large AND solid your mecha are. 03 Came right out (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) Oops! Thanks for pointing that out! The correct address should be www.insidethevault.c...rcoaster/. And this time I checked it! I also just put up a link for anyone else who clicks the old bad one... (...) If I hadn't been finishing up the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

Yes, yes, the roller coaster is totally awesome, but am I the first person to notice that the letter "c" is missing in the link to click on? I know that everyone else must've had to type the c in because otherwise, they wouldn't have seen the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) Thanks! (...) Mindstorms is definately something I want to add to this roller coaster. I like the idea of automatically replacing trains. Other spots for mindstorms are stopping at the station, opening and closing loading gates (if I had them) (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) Thanks Ted! (...) The biggest unexpected thing was the energy loss that is constantly occuring. Everything has to be really tight to prevent that loss. The other thing this project taught me was how incredibly complex real roller coasters are, (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) Sometimes they do, this one took a while. Maybe four/five days, working five+ hrs each day. The thing is I get into it and can't stop. I just, ..., <<sob>>, can't help myself. I get completely obsessed and the thing just builds itself really. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) looking for is a system that could be automated, or that would make it easy to take minifigure in and out when needed. I would imagine the rubber retraints would be a little tricky from that aspect... but they sure would cut down on my (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

You can almost hear the old western music in distance... A new gunslinger is in town... Sheriff, I'd get the heck out of Dodge!! Oh my gosh, that is one monsterous mech, where do I start!?! The legs are by far the coolest, the shape and greebles (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
