  Building the "Best" Millenium Falcon

I'm a newcomer here with a new and sizable building project I could use some extra expertise on. All those who have toyed with lighting their models, and those with experience building VERY compact lego moving parts I could use some advice finishing (...)   My Centurion.

Greetings to one and all. Well, Kyle's awesome Roman creations inspired me, so now I hope to inspire him with one of my own modifications: A centurion helmet. (URL) let me know what you think about it... And yes, that is me in the background. -- (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: cornice

(...) I look forward to seeing the window sill. It's funny, I build a lot of my buildings from the top down as well. A couple of them I built 'from the windows out'. (windows were made first.) Jonathan (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Jeez, he posts an opinion, and gets attacked for it. I find that really sad. He wasn't trying to "narrow the talent" or any such thing, he was posting what his favorite mecha creations were. Never once did he say he didn't like any mecha that (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Monthly MOC: Milk delivery van

My latest MOC is a small delivery van from the 1920'ies. Please visit (URL) let me know what you think. I would also like to mention my two previous creations: A German jet fighter from WWII: (URL) a tracked tractor modified from 5934 Track (...)   Re: I'm Back!

(...) Actually I distinctly remember. The Legomaster saying he has not magical little elves, nor smurfs, but his own creations, The LBB's Oz (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: I'm Back!

(...) upon this monster (and deservedly so), but I'm frightened to imagine the amount of work involved, and that that much work could all come out of one guy. I'm betting you've got a workshop full of elves hidden away somewhere that you're not (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

"sun yun" <solasphere@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:GppMEo.LJD@lugnet.com... (...) URL. (...) To me the DX harkens back to the stately days of Super Robots. Ahhhh. I can smell the die cast. :-) Great name for the site! Nice and solid. And great (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Intro...

What took you so long to post? I've been checking out your stuff for a couple weeks on Brickshelf. I saw your post and knew I'd seen that name before. You've got the cleanest guns around. Good stuff. And lots of designs too. My favorite is the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

Okay, so had a little identity crisis because I wanted to have a distinct URL. so The Foundry is now . . . FoundryDX!!! Don't ask me what the DX is for, I'll come up with something. :) My site is now at (URL) the more important things is new (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Intro...

(...) hey austin, Very clean collection of work you got there. You've been holding out on us too long but I'm glad you finally decided to share your creations with us. I think my personal favorite is the orc. Love the missle clusters. Your weapon (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Jacob, While I understand that to you this list is a form of praise I do not share your view. At the heavy risk of sounding like a total jerk (which I really am, but try not to let people know). You can take me off your list. You've insulted (...)   Re: LFB?

(...) Sorry, I can't cast a vote fairly, because connectivity issues--calling long distance over a 14.4 (!!)--mean that I can't browse the entries and make a fair decision. So if the contest voting is only open until Friday, I won't be able to cast (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Exactly. I myself disagree with the top 10 list because I personally dislike humanoid mecha, instead prefering more vehicle-looking mecha, such as the Locust, the AT-ST, the Rifleman, stuff like that. `Drew (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) That's exactly my point, Chris. Such a listing is subjective and completely unatainable because everyone's criteria for a 'Top 10 list' is different. Someone might form a list around humanoid looking mecha, while another might form a list of (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: ULF Database Update

(...) Astoundingly good work! I love the design of the transport. (That means, of course, that I am going to steal that design. ;) The dropship, too, caught my eye. Truely amazing work, keep it up. I'm sorry I missed this post at first. -- Mark (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: cornice

(...) Strangely enough, you're probably right about that :) I'm currently working on building a bunch of futuristic motorcycles, with the plan to stage a race with them. Of course I'll need scenery for that. Oh no, I need a town :) Adrian -- (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) Thanks. Let's spread the tie-fighter wing mount cornice around the world! :) -chris (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: cornice

(...) Yes it does. I only used the dk gray since I had several 1x2 bricks with technic pins in that color sitting on the layout. I think I will keep the scheme for the building. I wish that curve brick was available in an upside down version -- it (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: ULF Database Update

It looks good! Transports are difficult because they are essentially a box that needs to look like a spaceship/plane. You did a good job of breaking up the side wall by placing the engines there. gj, Matt (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
