Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

I barely made my entry under the deadline, and I have another large project that I wanted to include also, but alas, it still needs work....   Re: The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow

(...) Hi Greg, Nice job! What a collection of guys and ghouls. Some of them are very creative uses of common torsos, such as the green Armada guy, to create a very eerie, yet disturbingly normal minifig: (URL) also particularly like the dismembered (...)   Xcalabur's Lair Relaunch

(Please set FUT's) Hi all, I got fed up with Geocities, so I moved. Topcities is home now. I also cleaned a lot of stuff up, and I hope I made everything easily navigable (is that a word?) Soo, now the specifics: For the CW'ers and castlefolk: New (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle.org, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Larry, I took three of your pictures and added a sky background to them, just to see how they would look. (You mentioned how much you liked my sky background on my Alpha Stinger.) With your permission, I can post some "before and after" shots (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Alpha Stinger - My ISCC entry (for under $14)

(...) Thanks for the comments! I got the background by taking some hi-res shots of the sky with a digital camera. That way, I can be assured of a non-copyright violating, royalty free (and original) backdrop for my pictures. It turned out pretty (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) details from the predominately grey building. I think you pulled off the grey + yellow combination rather well. Good luck in the contest, although like you said yourself - some of these castle entries left me speechless. -- Pawel (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: New transforming space ship

Hey, Patrick I really quite like this-- it's an incredibly challenging task to set for yourself, but you've done an admirable job. The ship forms are particularly nice, flowing into each other aerodynamically. The mecha is quite good, too, but I (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: last bot of the year

(...) Thanks, Geordan. The objectives were to make something that (obviously) looked something like the source material, and in a span of time that suited an 8-year-old brain. Like 2 or 3 hours. Well, it was fun! Thanks for commenting. stuart (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Voting for BT1 Contest models

Hi, I see a number of 11th hour entries for the contest, and I cant wait to look at them. The ones already on Tom's contest page have been a treat to see and an inspiration. Will there be a notice when all the models have been added to the contest (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Good work. The buildings are all pretty neat. Heck you even used yellow. With grey though, I'll have to try that sometime. You have a nice variety of old-style cars.   Re: Adventurer's ISCC Entry

It's a serious storyline, but the dialog and slightly whimsical nature of the pictures (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.contests)
