  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) Hi Jason, I just wanna say I love your hotel. It looks very nice, I'd love to see it in its surroundings for a sense of scale (is it really that scary for the folks from your city? :-) Does the Hotel have an interior? I mean, rooms and such? (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Puzzle: Soma Cube

(...) (URL) tells me that all of them make 1 large cube, or 2 separate, smaller ones. I have shown him your other puzzles and he really likes your stuff, Eric (As do I, of course:-) -John (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Puzzle: Soma Cube

Amazing! ... as always :-) I've been trying to figure the Lego construction one of those out myself. Any chance of some DAT files or instructions/descriptions? (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) Ahhhh. Thats nice. I REALLY like how you put the plates on either side of the cockpit - that really gives the effect of the narrow Spitfire cockpit. Niiiice. Mad props, my friend. (pasted from a different part of the thread) (...) You got it (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) Hmm, Brown. I didn't even consider brown as an option. I wonder what brown and yellow look like together. Well, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have had enough brown to do this building. (...) I like those units too. It is a design that I have (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) thank you! (...) huh. The closeups show in popup windows-- if you have them surpressed, that could be why. As for Netscape.... what version do you use? I'll make changes when I move the site to a server THAT WORKS! In the meantime, see the (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: spitfire MOC

All right, just to make sure, please DON'T go to the brinkster site. Instead, go here: (URL) see the spitfire I made. >sigh< stuart (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) Well, they actually fold the wrong way-- away from the fuselage, not toward. Neat way to use those (...) oh, yeah, Eric H is tops. In particular, the insignia feature was inspired by the numerals in his grandfather clock MOC. ( (URL) ) Thanks, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) Well, there's lots of ref online, naturally, and the plane has undergone plenty of subtle changes over its years of service. Thanks for the kind words, though. It's actually remarkably sturdy for the amount of SNOT incorporated. stuart (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) oh, for gosh' sake. I moved my other site from Brinkster for this same reason, and I've had it. I took your advice and here's where you can see the dope: (URL) for letting me know, though. Much appreciated. stuart (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) The yellow works for me, but not with blue. Brown might have worked better for the trim color. (...) It's definitely an impressive edifice. I love the HVAC units on the roof, too. --Bill. (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: spitfire MOC

(...) However, I had some trouble with the site: I couldn't load that page in Netscape. It works fine in Internet Exploiter, but in Netscape there's a problem loading your stylesheet. Also, even in IE, I can't view the closeup images. --Bill. (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: spitfire MOC

Arrrrr!!! Avast ye Brinkster, and prepare for boarding! Your evil Brinkster account has reached its daily bandwith limit. So I have to wait until tomorrow to see it. Just a suggestion, you should use BrickShelf.com. Its free, easy, and good for Lego (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) I'm not particularly familiar with the real Spitfire, but that's a great plane model. Wonderful SNOT (Studs-Not-On-Top) usage! -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Pittsburgh Magizine Cover
