(...) Yes, that's really the reason for the new grey setting. It shows up the black better, but then the grey background itself shows up so well that it has to be moderately detailed, though it's difficult at such a large scale. The smaller hangar (...) (...) Thanks, Bill! You wouldn't believe what a pain it is to add minifig heads to a structure when you're out of 1x2 plates with center studs in black. I found a door hinge that works pretty well, and looks reasonably clean while still being applicable in numerous situations, so I use it :) The only problem is that most of my hinges are the kind with the hollow studs.
