I definitely like the landing gear. Simple to build, yet visually tasty. I also like the taper along the aft section of the body. I haven't figured out how to taper properly - yet. Hi Everyone, I made a VTOL Patrol craft and snapped a few pics at the SEALUG meeting on Saturday. So have a look: (URL) is powered by two large turbofans atop the fuselage, and has a single internal fan that powers four thrust nozzles beneath. The (...) The camera I use makes the top look larger than the bottom; unfortunately, the dark grey carpet makes a good background for the red and black. so I'm always shooting from above. Wow, I love these guys! The articulation in the arms is great for holding the gun, and the minifig fits perfectly. I've been looking for something like this for awhile; I've came up with several different ideas, but nothing this good. Overall great (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Chris, I really love the articulation of the head, and the legs. The sword and arms/hands are cool too. Now, I dunno if it's just me, but he looks a bit top-heavy...maybe it's just the angle it's photographed at? I dunno...at any rate, pretty (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Very nice Chris! I really like the sword! You've done a great job with the face using basic pieces. The skirt is particularly well done. The hinge on the front rocks. Also those hands are great. There have been a number of models posted to Brickshelf lately where the modeling and photography have been so good that people at first, on seeing the thumbnails which reduce resolution quite a bit so things blur a little, thought "gee, (...)
