Revision 2 of my 1:400 airport

Revision 2 of the main concourse is now complete. (URL) changed from 4-wide to six wide for the sake of scale. I went with bendy-arms for the jetways. Yes, they are round and not rectangular, but I like their modular nature in fitting different size (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

The Minbari, and to a lesser extent the Centauri, are suspected of using drives that interact with the Zero Point Field (don't have time to explain the ZPF right now), thus enabling them to use a reactionless drive. Your're wrong about the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Rotational surging ?

There is this MOC that I have been working on, a znap/system/technic ferris wheel. I have noticed a curious behaviour... for lack of a better description, I call it rotational surging. The ferris wheel is driven (but not weight supported on) a (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

(...) Not quite sure what you mean here. A ship could fly in space with similar flightpaths to how it can fly in an atmosphere. Nothing says that it can't. If you want to execute a smooth sweeping turn like in the atmosphere, you need only have (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: MOC: First World War German Dreadnought: SMS Friedrich der Grosse

[nb.: Scroll WAYYYY down to the end for the .admin.general item] (...) Thanks! I'm glad it has the approval of the ABS-grognards among us. :) I was warned, however, that building that ship served as an official gauntlet-dropping for you at next (...)   Re: MOC: First World War German Dreadnought: SMS Friedrich der Grosse

(...) Hey, thanks! It's no pagoda--that'll have to wait for another day--but I'm partial to it as well. I thought you'd also appreciate that little front-page backstory. ;) (...) If you want to get technical, the battlecruiser _Australia_, of the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.boats, lugnet.pirates)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

(...) Hey, thanks! Yeh, these alien suits often try to look like creatures because, in a sense, they *are* creatures. How can one improve on nature? :) (...) Actually, boring is precisely what I wanted. Utile, facile, and most of all camoflauged. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

MOC: Navy Destroyer, Nuclear Sub-Compact Prototype

Greetings, Well I posted preliminary shots earlier on this model but I have now updated the site and included full interior and raw pictures of ship and ship's company.
