  Re: MOC: AT-ST rev2

(...) Wow!... What else can I say... Your attention to details is very impressive. Will you bring it to the meeting on Monday so we can drool all over it? Great work as usual. Jorge F. (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: Brick Attachment Method Question

(...) Well, here's something I just figured out... Take a x2 technic axle and put it in the center hole of 1 brick then put the other brick on... It's seamless and holds pretty tight on newer bricks. Older bricks seem to be giving me a bit of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Brick Attachment Method Question

(...) Do they have to be 2x2 bricks ? If you are willing to fudge a little on that point, you can take 2x2 round bricks or 2x2 bricks with pin and put them back to back with say a #3 technic axle thru the center axis. IIRC, they both have axle holes (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Brick Attachment Method Question

Does anyone have a good scheme to attach two 2x2 bricks back-to-back (i.e. stud sides facing away from each other). I am looking for a way to have them seamlessly mated together. For instance if I use technic pins, there is a slight gap between the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Colin, When Sproat was out here in California in April I got to copy two of his models. Very very intricate, very articulate, very beautiful. Seeing them IRL and taking them apart to see how Jeremy made them was too much. I felt very honored. He is (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: HM-1 "Kicker" High Mobility Hard-Suit

Yeah I remember you had the legs built before I even thought of making an origami mecha. Your battle droid torsos are turned differently than the legs I have. Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: HM-1 "Kicker" High Mobility Hard-Suit

Well of course, I mean, it is a minifig suit, but it's on the smaller side so I just sort of lazily referred to it as mini-mecha, but that's besides the point....... RANDOM ON! (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minifig sticker generator

Amy Hughes wrote in message ... (...) need (...) Thanks Amy! It prints now, both from the browser and when I save the file as a GIF, from Corel Paint. The browser prints a single sticker about 2" square, though, and I can't see a place to tell it to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: MOC: AT-ST rev2

(...) you made. The large tree with the brown "vines" is particularly cool. Curious question: does anyone know how the crew are supposed to get up to and down from the hatch? Other than by jumping out of a tree I mean. Silly question: if you try to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  I'm Back!

Well it's been awhile, but I've finally pulled myself out of my laziness fit. So i decided to start posting here again. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera, which stinks, I hafta use my dad's. Which also stinks. but on the good side, I decided to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: HM-1 "Kicker" High Mobility Hard-Suit

(...) Thanks Peter! This isn't really a "mini-mecha", it is a hard-suit (although the arms are computer controlled and half of the legs are as well). Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: HM-1 "Kicker" High Mobility Hard-Suit

Woah, Supernifty, I have to say you have an incredible knack for building small versatile and really cool looking mini-mecha. I tried building a little dude once, but the project sort of blew up in my face, and the dude's parts were recycled into (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

(...) Yeah, B5 fighters Starfuries have thrusters on the front and sides, allowing omni-directional movement. They used the slide factor alot for combat (Fighter trajectory going the oppsite direction of the fighter). And in reply to Jeff's comment (...) I also couldn't come up with a satisfying round top. By making a convertible you eliminated the round (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

(...) Yep, the human fighters (Starfuries) require manuevering jets to change direction and speed. The only other race I know offhand how they operate are the Minbari's, which use gravity generators. I'm not sure if they have them on their fighters (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minifig sticker generator

(...) Thanks. (...) I'd need GIF images sized to 213x180 pixels with very simple color schemes. For example, a tie should be all one color, and not the many similar-but-not-exact colors that a JPG-to-GIF conversion or a scan of a photo would have. (...)   Re: Minifig sticker generator

(...) I've fixed this now. Please let me know if it's working for you, and if you need to do anything special to get them to print the right size. Amy (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
