Seeking advice for a novice 9YO Technic builder who already built Giant Model and Tread Trekker and just got 8480 Space Shuttle, eg: - How much time to build each model of the 8480 set? - Mistakes in printed instructions? - Tips? - Other models on (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) That is indeed a difficult step. I should probably split it in two. First, the top of the inverted T gets connected to the axle #3 which is connected to the teal liftarm. Then, the long frame with the odd angle gets connected to the axle #4 (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.build)
 
  Blacktron 1 Battrax alternate scan?
 
I own a Battrax, but 5 years ago I mixed it up inot my big bucket of lego. So, a few weeks ago, I dug it out, but the box is missing. I would like to have a scan of the back of the box, so I can see the alternative models. Can I find one on the (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) saw it. Step 6 I have a problem with. Where is the #4 axle from the subassembly going? (that is the inverted 'T' shaped subassembly) Or does it just float freely? In looking at the complete rendering, I can see it does indeed not fasten (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.build)

They have the largest selection of current LEGO (including DACTA) of any retailer in the Greater Boston area (maybe even all of New England) but since they are so unique and popular, things don't stay on the shelves long.
