Step 6 I have a problem with.  Where is the #4 axle from the subassembly going?
(that is the inverted 'T' shaped subassembly)  Or does it just float freely?

That is indeed a difficult step.  I should probably split it in two.
First, the top of the inverted T gets connected to the axle #3 which is
connected to the teal liftarm.  Then, the long frame with the odd angle
gets connected to the axle #4 which is the bottom of the inverted T.
Then, connect the wheel.  (Should probably leave out the wheel in this
step.)

In step 7, the subassembly doesn't make sense.  It looks like a 1x2 technic
brick with a #2 axle in it.  Fine.  But the 1x3 plate on top is centered.  How?
Wouldn't the plate be fastened off-center?

The 2x1 brick has an axle hole, which is not clear from the image.  And,
a plate can be put on a Technic beam with 1/2 stud offset!  Just try,
it's a neat trick.

(...) Also, due to the viewing angle, the #4 axle appears to almost be in the same place as the small axle from a previous step. At first glance, they appear to be the same. (...) D'Oh! Holes in the studs. Boy, do I feel stupid! Sorry for that (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.build)
