  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) About six ice cubes and a paper cup works pretty well for short trips. For longer trips, I take two Explorien-style clear blue half-cylinder pieces to form a 4x4 hollow canister which a minifig can squeeze into with its leg folded. I put 1x4 (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Minifig Cryo Chamber

I am trying to build a compact minifig cryo chamber for those deep space treks. Does anyone have some ideas they would be willing to share? Duane (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Yes. Are you building one? The pix aren't very clear, but I can tell you every minifig accessory I used, how to make microphone stands, the loudspeakers, etc. I've still got the concert mostly together. -Tom McD. when replying, wail on the (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

(...) Yep. Most of my old red roof bricks have warped, especially the 2x4x2 ones, they give a sort of scalloped efffect to the edge of a roof <g>. (...) Could be. At this point it's hard to remember, but I don't think we bought any roof bricks (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Kevin, The earlier pieces that you describe (a hint of orange in the red color) are made of Cellulose Acetate. That was the plastic that LEGO used in the early years. Unfortunately it has a tendancy to warp. I have many examples of early LEGO (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) Doesn't matter. Ed Boxer won more than once for different sections of his site and deserved it each time. Gary Istok won for stuff he gave me that's on MY site. So I think an award specifically for this page is just fine and justifiable. (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)

  Brickenplate webpage

I recently bought a digital camera and have finally updated by webpage, Brickenplate. It's still a pretty small site, but I hope to be adding a lot more now that I have a camera. The "Brickenplate Tour" features town-themed MOCs and the "Scrapbook" (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) I have made proper instruction, mostly in TLG style, but a bit more "compressed" for a bike at (URL) I found the work to be a bit tedious.
