  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) Again, I think that a group dedicated to military, and things of such, ie. aircraft and battleships would be very appropriate for this forum, any support or ideas? I posted this idea to admin awhile ago, but I didn't get any replies. -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) It's not a space craft. It's just a futuristic jet. I posted to .space because many of the space folk are interested in this genre of creations as well, and there is no specific "air" group. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update: Another Good Day for Mecha

(...) Did you read my post that I sent the other day, Mark? The game that I was referring to was a game that is known as Darius Twin, at least that was the only Darius game that was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment system. The vehicle (...) (...) reminiscent of a F-15 Eagle or a F-16 Tomcat. If this was going to be an air craft, then I would say that it is a nice piece of art but this is a design that seems to me, at least in my opinion, that does not work with the general concept of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: EireTech Selkie

WOW! You've captured the look of the marine transporter perfectly. I love all the designs from FF, especially Zeus. I was drooling every time it was shown... Back to your model, the ramp is really cool. Also, are you planning on putting any landing (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

I saw this last night and I must say, it's pretty cool! I like all the features you crammed into the model. The movable wings are great, as is the landing gear. The opening cockpit reminds me of the Daredevil Flight Squad set (6582). Anyways, great (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: D.C. Metrorail Car

It is a very nice job. In my traveling around D.C. on a nearly daily basis (not on the metro, but around it in my car) you can see how close it is to the rreal thing. What would be nice is if it could be modified to be put on a monorail base which (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: D.C. Metrorail Car

I'm not Kevin, but I've certainly ridden the metro enough to answer :) The real Metro does sit very high on the trucks - it's not very noticable when you're on the platform. If you're in a station like metro center, where both tracks are in the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) My camera seems to read red as orange, especially in close-up shots. Since I'm color blind, it doesn't bother me as much. I prefer it reading orange instead of magenta, as some cameras tend to do. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: D.C. Metrorail Car

(...) Kevin, Does the real metro rest that high on its trucks or are they inset more into the frame of the car? I think this model would be very cute if it were "Legoized" and made half as long...realism is one thing, play value and practicality (...)   Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

Is that Orange or is the color balance really off on your camera/picture? The reason I ask is that looks like a classic space minifig body but it's quite orange on my computer. Dont remember an orange minifig classic space guy. Other than that, (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)
