A friend of mine asked me to do an Earth Day sculpture (on 24 hours notice) so I decided to build my own version of the globe that Eric Harshbarger had done a year or so ago. Kent, I would cover your model in aluminum foil to make it highly reflective. From what I understand, a light-activated proximity sensor "looks" for a change in the light around it. Thus to be undetectable, make your model as bright as the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

First thing that comes to my mind, is that the Light sensor uses a LIDAR of some sort, and maybe a material that absorbs or has a low reflective Color properties could absorb the energy. ...but then I don't know how it works exactly. We know that (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

I had a question, I've been looking around on the lego pages looking to see if there was a way I could escape a light sensor (being used as a proximity sensor) or maybe not a way to escape but a way to attempt to hide myself from it. We are doing a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Glad you like the color scheme. As for not being able to load the wallpaper, I don't know what to tell you. I checked the site, and the page seemed to be working. Travis, I really like the new renders of the golem and the A19. You have a very military color scheme that adds realim to both models. (...) Getting back to the original subject, I know this has come up before and I believe the consensus was you want to use clean bricks, well rinsed. New bricks have mold release, a sort of oil. This could be bad for the fish :^) Try searching for (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Just follow Kevin Wilson's example and have your roof and each flor section removable to allow others to see the (...)
