(...) Look carefully at the edge of some of the coats - very thin. Probably paper or some kind of material. Others possibly could be plastic "clay" (Sculpey and the like). Supposedly Tarter Control Toothpaste has more abrasive in it so it works better, I still have some work to finish one the one soccer fig I am removing the '1' from the back of. To All, (...) as (...) Interesting, this makes LEGO elements truly unique, as many different people can use these parts for different things. I use these parts, or have used them, like this: Equipment lockers, mailboxes, hazardous storage (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
