  Re: New: Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper

(...) Thank you, Mladen. :-, (...) Maybe. :-, I'm in a Stickfig mood right now though... I have about a dozen unpublished models, and maybe 5 or 6 scene sketches, that I need to cram into wallpaper before I switch modes. Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New: Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper

The Convoy wallpaper is breathtaking! Excellent job Jeremy! But I gotta ask: Are you going to do any mini-fig scale models (i.e. Valkyries, and other mecha from Robotech) in the future? (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New: Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper

(...) All the wallpaper and view backgrounds are POV-generated. With the exception of Convoy, they were modeled in MLCad and then L3P'd with the other models. For Convoy, I used Terragen -- though if I were to do it again, I'd just use the pattern (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New: Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper

(...) Cool new wallpaper! Thanks Jeremy! Where did you get the background? Bryce (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  New: Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper

Hey all, I have just put some finishing touches on this site, and I feel that it is ready for prime-time. It is my pleasure to announce my Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper: (URL) for your perusal are three wallpaper-sized images depicting some of my (...)   Re: New Carrier - Starship Gibraltar

(...) Wow, thank you, man! (...) Yes, I wanted to see if I could pull it off in minifig scale. I combined many elements from my first carrier (the baseplates, BURPS, castle walls) but tried to match the same feel of the microfig carrier. The (...)   Moonbase Io update: New site name & 2 new starfighters

First and foremost, "Moonbase Io" is now called "Silicon Psyche". Why? Basically because the villians in my story are big, sentient robots. I feel its a more fittng title (and it doesn't sound like a ripoff of "Marsbase"). Now for the creations. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.tennlug)

Re: Big scale model of AMC AMX '68

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!! The detail is great, and the black hood makes it look like its being rebuilt or repainted. Gary jouhi <jouhi@saunalahti.fi> wrote in message news:GAv25A.A7D@lugnet.com... (...) old, (...) white (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: BLAST debut

(...) Oh my. Talk about making a grand entrance, Jay..... that is a quality site. The attention to detail and time put into it is obvious. I LOVE the Armadillo. I've been wondering how to make a good version of Elemental battle armor from (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Carrier - Starship Gibraltar

(...) You are the man. No one matches your mastery of shape, color, details, and novel construction. Was your microfig carrier a study for this monster? They look a lot alike. Can't wait to see more! - Paul (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: MOC: BR52 Steam Locomotive

(...) Sorry, "Shaun's". Anyway, why am I helping this guy? I almost went mad trying to do a decent AT-AT thanks to Mr. Sullivan's models, and now he's doing trains! Shaun, can't you get into Belville or something instead? :) Jason J Railton (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: BR52 Steam Locomotive

(...) I'm still building in minifig-stylee 6-wide, but it becomes obvious that these trains are smaller than a true minifig scale when you put someone in the cabin. But, 8-wide means that you have to do everything as a larger MOC, including any (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Part 6214: how can I use this thing?

(...) You could also make it the head of a giant. It has the definite shape of a head with ears sticking out of the sides. It would be a pretty flat giant, but it could turn out cool with the right accessories..... (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: MOC: BR52 Steam Locomotive

Re: Big scale model of AMC AMX '68

You have my vote. That is a 10. Very pleasing to the eye. The engine and drive line detail are just sensational. If this is your first, you will have a real challenge trying to better this project. Thanks for sharing the pictures. -- Bob Fay (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: BR52 Steam Locomotive

(...) Thanks, Jason. I picked the German steam train to fit in with the motif of my other models, primarily, as I tend to lean towards utilitarian workhorse designs. Political ramifications aside, the German industrial boom of the 1930s produced (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
