Re: Prototype Trade Federation Starfighter with Droid Pilot MOC

(...) Nice. I have the same trouble with lighting for my Digicam though - a light far away or reflected off a white surface is too dark, but bring it in close and you get too many shadows. The only answer is to put the model near a window in (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

Re: Lego Valkyrie v2.0 (progress shots)

(...) In regards to the arms and legs on the first valk; it doesn't handle weight well. I did my best to do what I could. I primarily used a combination of lite construction(most of the inner sections are hollowed) and a lot of click hinges. The arm (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Dread Pirate Roberts (was "The Wobbegong sails forth")

(...) I just thought of how to build a "Dread Pirate Roberts" Lego minifig in real life (if you're willing to do a minor amount of "artistic re-touching").   Re: Lego Valkyrie v2.0 (progress shots)

(...) NO MARK!!!! You should DEFINITELY give it a try. Doing the valkyrie has always been my "Holy Grail" project since I was a kid.   Re: Lego Valkyrie v2.0 (progress shots)

Wow! Your new Valkyrie model looks great! Definitely more leaner than your first Valkyrie. BTW how do the arms and legs in your first Valkyrie stand all that weight? It looks like you used a combination of click-hinges and technic joints to do that, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
