  Re: Atmospheric Mecha Carrier Update!

(...) <snip> (...) <snip> I think your statement is the source of your issue. The phrase isn't meant to justify a less interesting design. (Besides, why would I be trying to justify something Mladen built when I don't know his reasons?) It's a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: 8 wide '69 Dodge Charger

(...) Great stuff! It looks quite like a '68-'69 Charger. In fact, that's a minor nit. The nose looks like a '69 Charger, but the taillights look like a '68. The '68 had taillights that looked like this: _ _ _ _ (_) (_) (_) (_) The '69 had wider (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.build)

  ElfQuest minifigs

(...) ElfQuest! Coool. the only comic I've ever bought regularly. :-) Many, many years ago (when dinosaurs walked the Earth), I was really into it.   Building a gravel silo

I'm working on the inside of a gravel silo and I'm not completely happy with it. The silo I have in mind dumps gravel into either a hopper waggon or into a dump-truck. Currently I have two designs: (warning bad ascii art) T = the truck H = the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Bram: (...) I know the feeling. (but I need a digital camera) I really like the way you constructed the windscreen frame. And yes, the front grill is elegant. Play well, Jacob -- (URL) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: Success Ratio

(...) I consider myself a buider and tinkerer... I tend to do futuristic or sci-fi (as opposed to space...it has been said my creations are "not spacey" enough) (...)   Re: Power Plant

(...) This town was built for our BrikWars in October 2000. It was set in a port, so I thought the pirates and sailors may need a place for rest and recreation and maybe some worship. I think it became the C of S for the tax benefits. Any (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

I also have a very high failure rate, mostly because I'm easily distracted and tend to go off on construction tangents. Those crash trucks are simply awesome. I am definitely going to work on one or more variants of the K/R40 when I get some time, perhaps this weekend. Does anyone know why the last axel sticks out?   Re: Success Ratio

(...) Well... going from past experience, I used to scrap quite a few MOC's before I finished them. Most of the time they were Castle creations and that only because I never took the time to figure out what I liked for layout. Usually, for space (...) I couldn't resist :) Once I had an idea for the front grill, I couldn't leave it at that, so I finished the car instead of working on my spaceliner. As always, please LMKWYT!
