If you can, use a worm to drive the rack; you'll be better off. It'll take more load and if some of the other stages in your gear train break or slip (You'll want to have a belt stage in there somewhere so you won't break things anyway), the rack (...) Nice colour scheme and design! I love all the rounded parts on this model, and I am so glad to see this mecha has wheels on its feet (very VOTOMS/Heavy Gear inspired).
