I've never measured it, but if someone can find a value for the elastic
modulus of ABS it'd be easy to calculate a rough estimate of how much the
force the teeth can take.

| Hi all, I'm running into trouble with my mobile crane project. The boom is pretty heavy. I want to raise it with a rack/pinion, but I wonder how much force they can take?
